Mission Statement
The principal purpose
for which the Tustin Area Historical Society was formed was to unite all persons
interested in the historical aspect of the Tustin area and its environs;
to foster a common interest, identity and appreciation of all matters pertaining
to our historic heritage; to engage and promote historical research;
to collect, store and exhibit (where and as appropriate or feasible) books,
records, factual data, photographs, artifacts, and the like which are of
historic value; to assist and promote the location, identification and
preservation of historic sights, structures, or landmarks; and to promote
and foster programs of historic interest to the community.
